RCI3 Loring Set Up
- Connect your Loring Roaster to the local network and find the ip address of the unit.
It pays to ensure you have your Loring on the same sub net as your local computers. For example if you have 192.168.1.XXX make sure the Loring is on 192.168.1.XXX
Or if it’s a 10.1.1.XXX make sure the Loring is on 10.1.1XXX
An example set up:
Router 192.168.0.1
Loring 192.168.0.200
RCI3 Controller 192.168.0.205
- Install the Roast IQ Controller – this just needs to be connected to the network via an
Ethernet connection, so could be housed in network cupboard or a dry shelf
it can go anywhere as long as it’s on the same network as your Loring and your
computer.
- Set your ip addresses on the Roast IQ Controller and the Loring PLC IP addresses
the PLC Address is the Loring Network Address
- Log in to Roast IQ, add the roaster.
- This will prompt you for the Roast IQ Controller IP address
Save and you are ready to Roast.
